Girls Rock NL is also dedicated to empowering our vibrant volunteer community of womxn and gender non-conforming folks! There are many ways that you can support GRNL: subscribe to our newsletter, put together a benefit concert or host a fundraiser at your business, follow us on social media, or volunteer with us.
We are currently seeking volunteers over the age of 18 who identify as womxn, trans, non-binary, two spirit or gender non-conforming to help with our annual girls rock camp in St. John’s from July 22-27! GRNL volunteers help with the day-to-day operations of making camp clean, safe and fun for everyone, such as moving gear, helping out with snack time, tidying up and supporting staff.
Volunteer Requirements
Volunteers are required to complete our application form below, attend a mandatory two day training session on June 8 and 9 from 1PM-5PM, abide by the GRNL handbook and commitment to inclusivity, and provide a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
